Vila Gama Apartaments

We had a place to sleep and temporarely store our stuff, nothing more, nothing less.

First arrival we noticed the smell of the room. We experienced the kitchenette way too small, the wet room as well as the "kitchen" smells terrible. The bathroom/shower cabin is full of limescale. The kitchenette was taken over by ants, already at first arrival. We didn't see a host at all, during our stay. Overall: the app. is very small and way too dated.

In a country style setting, relaxing, cosy gardens. Quick drive from airport, 30 minute walk to Machico, easy to get to Funchal. Stayed 5 nights and explored area quite easily.

Keeping in mind close to airport, means fun to watch planes, but can be annoying to some. Though not as many planes as I thought in the mornings, just a couple.

This is a perfect accommodation at a reasonable price.

Spacious, cozy apartment. Great deck. Easy check in. Lovely garden.

Some airport noise. A fan in the apartment would have been helpful to block that out.

No communication at all. They never answered.
