Love the convenient location, cleanliness, responsiveness and reasonable pricing.

Lack of bathroom amenities - at that time there was no bathroom soap/gel, shampoo /conditioner or lotion. The owner was informed after checking out and apologized, said will be attended to.

The location of this apartment is great for being central in Funchal. Dulio who came to meet me for keys hand over is super lovely, friendly and welcoming! The property itself is how the photos show. It had good space in the bedroom, living room and balcony! Did the job for a 3 night, solo stay :-) I was there to hike and relax.

As others have mentioned the sofa in the living room is not suitable to sit on. It tipped forward everytime I tried. As I travelled alone it was no big deal as I sat on the bed to relax instead. My only downside (may not be an issue to others - it’s more a personal preference): the traffic noise. This really was extremely loud. I am not used to loud road traffic so found even sitting out on the balcony too much beyond just 15 minutes. I had to close the doors to keep the noise out. The bar next door is also loud and I heard loud voices taking and laughing outside at night. Again, very distracting for me but may not phase others. Just mentioning to make awareness beforehand, rather than book and leave a low review :-)

Nice and comfortable little apartment with everything you need in the kitchen. The location is perfect. Close to the city center and opposite a shopping mall

The first day there was a specific smell, but most likely this is due to the fact that we arrived at the beginning of the season and no one lived there.

The location was extremely good, the host was nice and friendly and let us stay longer after the checkout. Terrace is quite big. It is dark in the rooms thanks to the window shutters, the rooms are silent, very good for resting.

The microwave was not working.

There's a bad smell in the bathroom

This is a great apartment at a perfect location midst the centre of Funchal. The shopping centre was down the street and we were very close to the boulevard. It is noisy on the side of the balcony because of a busy street but the bedroom was on the other side with much less noise. We were able to cook every night and had some good coffee (Nescafé Dolce Gusto). The shower was great and the bed was fine. Thank you so much for a delightful stay!
