Canavial Terrace@Heart of Funchal

The apartment is really nice, clean, with AC and has all the amenities you need. We loved the small terrace and the central location, just opposite the shopping mall Plaza Madeira. The host was waiting for us to show us everything and made us feel like at home. The possibility to have a private parking is priceless in the center of Funchal. We would definitely stay again.

First of all, great hosts. Viktoria and Paulo gave us useful recommendations, where to go, helped us with all questions, and were always in touch. Amazing location in walkable distance from the most important places of the city. The apartment itself was clean with a nice balcony, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable bed. Private parking space is a huge plus in Funchal.

Bed smell in the bathroom, the air conditioner is old and doesn't cool well. The Wi-Fi connection wasn't stable, but if you don't use it for the remote work with lots of video calls and conferences, as in our case, I guess it should be fine.

The position was perfect, walking distance from everything in Funchal and 2 mins walking from supermarket. Paulo was amazing with the check-in. The bedroom itself and the bed were very comfortable.

The sofa was very uncomfortable and there is no much space to "put things on". The only place to eat was the little table on the balcony.

Lack of bathroom amenities - at that time there was no bathroom soap/gel, shampoo /conditioner or lotion. The owner was informed after checking out and apologized, said will be attended to.
