- Harde bedden en niet volledig functionerende douche - Geregel rondom het parkeren. We spraken een tijd af om op een locatie aanwezig te zijn zodat we de garage in konden rijden. Helaas was diegene die ons hierbij zou helpen niet tijdig ter plaats en moesten we noodgedwongen elders parkeren omdat we anders het verkeer in die straat ophielden

Location is amazingly close to the centre and it has a big shopping centre right next to it. The views are so good.

It is not clean at all.. I found many hairs from the bedsheets, sofa and bathroom. Considering the shutter to the terrace, there's not much sun coming through so it was quite dark all day long. I had so much hard time breathing cos I'm seriously allergic to dust and mould.:( I had to take tablets everyday when I was staying here.. Idk why it has so many good reviews.

It was close to centre of Funchal and It was very comfortable . It had a balcony where we could enjoy breakfast and close to a very good supermarket. We hope to return again soon.

The only thing is, it is quite close to a main road, so you have road noise. It didn’t bother us as we sat on the balcony and If you want to be close to centre this will be what you get. At night we would shut windows and put air conditioning on and it was perfect. PLEASE DONT LET THIS PUT YOU OFF.

A lovely, cosy , very clean studio flat in a great location near to supermarket and shopping centre, over the road is the bus station to the airport. At the port end of town. Friendly, helpful staff if you should need anything. Very convenient free parking. I had the roof top apartment with a lovely terrace. Would highly recommend.

It was very close to the center, it has a terrace and it was nice and clean.

We could had use more coffee pods and sugar.

The location was very good and convenient. The pillows were comfortable, and there were enough towels provided. In general, communication was responsive — they replied quickly to messages.

Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable, and the walls were extremely thin — we could hear everything happening on the street as well as inside the neighboring apartments. We could even hear what the neighbors were saying. To make matters worse, a nearby rooster started crowing around 4–5 AM, making it impossible to sleep after that. There were bugs in the kitchen and living room, and the bathroom wasn’t clean — it had a bad smell, someone’s hair, and visible mold in the shower. There was also no storage space: no shelves or racks, and only a few hangers, so we couldn’t really unpack our things. Overall, the apartment felt a bit rundown and didn’t match the photos. The parking situation was particularly frustrating. We had agreed in advance to receive a parking card upon arrival, but that didn’t happen. Despite multiple calls and messages, the arrangements kept changing, and promises weren’t kept. When we returned the following evening, the parking card still wasn’t in the lockbox as agreed. They said it would be delivered in 5 minutes, but we ended up waiting in the car for half an hour. It was disappointing to spend that time just sitting and waiting, especially after being told it would be quick — if we had known, we could have used that time to do something else. Overall, it created a lot of unnecessary stress and hassle. Parking was the main reason we chose this apartment, but in hindsight, staying at better accommodation and organizing parking ourselves would have been much easier and far more convenient.
