Quinta do Bom Sucesso

Fantastic accommodation in a great location for exploring Madeira with easy access to Funchal. The accommodation was very clean with all the facilities you could need. Then garden and pool are beautiful and very well cared for, a very relaxing place to be. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly but also left us to ourselves so the accommodation feels very private. The welcome food on arrival and the opportunity to help yourself to the home grown salad is a very special touch!

An incredible place to stay, especially for the NYE fireworks. The apartment offers a perfect view of Funchal. The hosts made the stay memorable by being supportive, responsive, and providing great tips. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

De mooie tuin waar dit appartement in ligt.

Het lawaai van de weg die ernaast liep, maar dat had ik van tevoren al gelezen dus was geen verassing.

Exceptional stay. My second time here and it was just as amazing as the first time. Edgar is helpful and super responsive when booking and his parents Abel and Teresa are the most kind and humble people ever. We were warmly greeted and shown around by Abel who has so many treats waiting for us....from a homemade flan and tuna dish to fresh bread from the bakery and eggs and fruits from the garden, together with a fridge full of of drinks, and breakfast ingredients. The hospitality and generosity is second to none. The world would be a better place if we had more people like this in it. The garden is so beautiful and immaculate, and you can definitely tell it's a true labour of love. Absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to go back again soon.

Location might be an issue for some but didn't make a difference to me.....enjoyed the quiet location with amazing view

The gardens were beautiful and the gift of Madeira, bolo, fruit and other treats were super nice.

You had to go outside to go to the kitchen, the kitchen was not very clean and there were dead cockroaches behind the recycling. The bedroom was small and the bathroom was completely moldy, I mean black mold on the walls in the bathroom, kitchen and entryway.

Die Quinta do Bom Sucesso ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit überaus freundlichen Gestgebern. Besonders gefallen hat uns der schöne Garten, der Pool und die gute Ausstattung der Wohnung. Außerdem ist sie sehr gut gelegen, so dass man alles für den täglichen Bedarf fußläufig erreichen kann. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür.
