Quinta do Bom Sucesso

Un lugar de 10. La familia que lo atiende es de lo más amable. El día de la llegada nos cocinaron y tuvieron el detalle de dejarnos algunas provisiones para el desayuno del día siguiente. Además tienen una huerta de la cual puedes tomar tomates, lechuga, etc. La piscina con vistas al mar hace la delicia de los atardeceres. Sin duda, regresaría.

Prachtig uitzicht, mooie tuin, rustige locatie en heerlijk zwembad. Hoewel buiten het centrum van Funchal alles prima te bereiken met de meerdere bussen die binnen 2 minuten lopen van de Quinta stoppen.

Des propriétaires absolument charmant particulièrement accueillant et l'art de recevoir ses hôtes avec un frigo bien garni un bon dessert fait maison, du porto des fruits etc.... On ne manquait de rien , il y avait même un barbecue avec tout le nécessaire. Une terrasse relie la chambre a la cuisine Il y a même juste à coté une piscine municipal.

Le seul bémol pour nous était le bruit de la circulation juste devant notre logement

We had a lovely time staying here. The most beautiful welcome from any accommodation so far, with fruits and vegetables and cooked meals waiting for us at arrival. Everything you need is at a short distance. Also a great location if you have a car and want to explore the entire island. The entire family hosting the property were very friendly and helpful. The Quinta is amazing with lots of terraces and places you can stay outside and enjoy the view. We highly recommend this place.

Perfect space with a big terrace and glorious views of Funchal. The hosts were super friendly and accomodating. We came with our 7 month old and they provided a cot/ infant bath. We arrived after a late flight and they had prepared us a lovely meal. They also left a bowl of fresh fruit from the garden. There is also a great bakery round the corner which is v popular with the locals.

Location was a bit out of town which suited us as it was quieter and had more space. Was an easy 20 min walk into Funchal but v hilly on the way back. We would usually get the bus back with many buses stopping outside the house so never had to wait long.

The location was good with easy bus connections. The apartment was very spacious though wardrobe space was limited. The self catering facilities were good and the hosts were superb with a lot of goodies in the apartment upon arrival (eg eggs, bread, fruit)
