Quinta do Bom Sucesso

We loved everything about this place. An small infinity pool that allows you to feel fresh and awake. We were supplied with fresh fruit from the garden and delicious local dishes. The location is really close to Funchal center (10 Minute walk via a steep incline or steps) but if typical Madeira inclines are not your thing that you are well connected via public bus. I stayed in a lot of different accommodations, but this one is definitely one of my favorites. 5 *s

The location is wonderful, set in a beautiful secluded garden with views to the sea. The walk into the centre of town is very steep but there is a bus service. The hosts are very kind and thoughtful and provided lovely food, fresh fruit and eggs from the chickens which live in the garden. It is a delightful spot and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Madeira.

If you like the idea of a nice little house in a spectacular garden look no further and book. Location perfect for hikes, city and fireworks. Amazing friendly hosts. A car would make your life easy but also bus is close by.

This location is all we wanted. The hosts are fantastic, we were self contained, but had support if required. This is our second time at this location and I think that says it all :-) The hosts are fantastic as is the location and accommodation. everything we could have wanted we had.

Loved everything! Sitting in the garden, enjoying the pool, views and the fruits. Hosts were super lovely, made us feel like home! 12 points out of 10 🤩❤️

The property owners were extremely friendly and generous. We were welcomed with a basket of fresh fruits and a set of local deliciousness. The garden is wonderful. You can relax by the pool as if you were in a botanical garden while being a two-minute drive from the city centre and the ocean. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am on the island.

There is nothing I did not like. A useful side note is that in our apartment the kitchen and the bedroom were separated and physically accessible through two different doors from the outside, with a balcony connecting the two.
