Clean and nicely decorated, close to the centre

The stairs in front of the house felt unsafe at night due to people hanging around

The apartment itself was nice BUT it’s in a very sketchy, unsafe and dirty location. We felt very uncomfortable walking around in the street/area. As a woman, I would never walk around the area without my husband. On top of that, the apartment is on the first floor. The stairs going up to the apartment are very narrow and very steep. If you have large suitcases, it’s really tricky to get them up. I’m a 34 fit female and I would have not been able to carry them up myself. It’s not on a street that’s accessible by car so again, need to lug your suitcases from the nearest street, in the sketchy neighbourhood. The closest parking garage is 45 euros a day!! We have been traveling across Europe by car for the past three months and that’s the most expensive garage yet AND it (and all the garages in the area) has had multiple reports of cars being broken into. It’s also a good five minute walk from the apartment, up lots of stairs. So not possible to walk with your luggage from the garage. Lastly, it’s a very old building so you can hear everything the upstairs neighbours are doing at all times. Every step. Even if I was traveling really light, without a car, I would still most definitely not stay there again.

Location within walking distance to train station and all the main sights and attractions. Mae's kitchen, which is just 20m from the apartment round the corner, had great food which is very reasonably priced.

Staircase near the apartment building had drug activity and paraphernalia lying around and stinks of pee. There was a leak in the apartment on our last night from the unit upstairs which jolted us up from our sleep and we couldn't get hold of the host till the next morning after we left. Thankfully it subsided after a couple of hours, but was still a rather disturbed and interrupted night.

The apartment was very clean and located near the main touristy area of Lisbon, near sites and restaurants. The room was pleasant and clean and our host was very friendly (brought us two pastel de natas upon our arrival!).

The shower was a bit tight: might be too small for some people.

Das Apartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet, und hat alles was man braucht. Ebenfalls war alles perfekt sauber und die Vermieter waren sehr Freundlich. Sie sendeten uns sogar eine Liste mit empfehlungen von Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten, damit man nicht in Touristenfallen tappt. Innerhalb von nur 2 Minuten Gehen ist man direkt in dem belebten Zentrum. Die Anreise empfehle ich via Uber oder Taxi, da man die Koffer ansonsten mehrere Treppen und Steile Gassen mit löchrigem Asphalt hochtragen muss.

Leider war bei unserem Besuch die Türfalle des Badezimmers defekt. Da konnte der Vermieter jedoch nichts dafür, da es sich um schäden vom vormieter handelte. Er versicherte uns auch das es in 1 Woche repariert wird. Vor dem Hauseingang lag überall Müll. Und die Gasse stinkt nach Urin von Hunden. In der Wohnung kann man davon jedoch nichts riechen, da die Fenster genug weit oben sind. Sobald man 80 Meter vom Haus entfernt ist, ist alles wieder sauber.

Le quartier est très mal fréquenté. Énormément de drogués dans les rues autour de l'appartement.
