The owner met us when we lost our way to the property. In the apartment we were offered a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine. It’s so kind ) The terrace has amazing view!!!

This apartment has the most incredible view from the yard - I could have sit there for the whole trip just watching the people and river below. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable for four people. Highly recommend!

While I highly recommend this apartment, it does come with some warnings. 1. It is not accessible by car so you have to be picked up/dropped off nearby and climb stairs up/down to get to it. It can be somewhat difficult to locate but the communication made it seamless. 2. You MUST climb stairs to get to and around the apartment. If you go down to the river it's over 170 steps up/down. It's only around 30 to go up the cathedral and center of town. This is a hilly city and the apartment is an amazing location, but it takes work to get there! 3. Some doorways are very short and both my husband and son hit their heads at least once. It's a funky hillside apartment with four levels - but the view makes it all worth it! 4. There is no air conditioning but there is almost always a breeze.

Perfect property with spectacular views from indoors and out

Access to the property from outside streets and access to the second bedroom not easy but if fit, worth all the inconvenience

The perfect place to stay in Porto, ideally located near the main tourist sites (overlooking the Dom Luis bridge and just below the cathedral) but also secluded, quiet and off the beaten track. It's also very well situated for reaching the main city centre and the culture, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The apartment itself is fabulous, very well kept and equipped, with comfy beds and plenty of chill-out space. It's unlikely you'll find anywhere else in Porto with this location and this much outside space to relax in between busy days and nights. As other reviews have noted, the only potential drawback if you have mobility problems (or very young children) is the steep ladder up to the second bedroom. A final word of thanks to Nilde and Alberto, our generous hosts, who were really lovely and welcoming. I stayed with two friends, but will be returning with my family (including two children aged six and eight) in the near future.

Brilliant Location, Beautifully finished inside and out, TWO outside garden terraces. Super Clean. Nice/Fun Host (even though he didnt speak English - he had a friend who translated). Recommended!

It is in a super place, in a warren of super-cute small pedestrian stepped area. Direction to finding it could have been more explicit. We were two older couples - having an upstairs bedroom that could only be accessed by going up a ladder wasnt ideal - and once up no toilet/bathroom there. However, for younger couples or a young family it is brilliant and I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located in an old part of the city. Getting to the actual hotel involves utilizing steps. To get to the hotel, you have to descend about 36 steps. To get up to the hotel from below, you have to ascend about 196 steps. The numbers are not a typo nor an exaggeration. There is no elevator in the hotel. The host is wonderful and will help with carrying luggage. Driving to the hotel is also difficult. Other than that, it is in a wonderful location with great views

This property was exceptional. We did not even need to leave the property to feel like we were in the middle of Porto. Lovely space, unique, interesting and clean. The property has 2 terraces with real grass that look over the whole Porto scene, river and bridges. We just loved it!

No negatives from us. The only consideration is for those less able - the steps around the area and within the apartment may not be easy.
