The views from the terrace were stunning. Having the private space to enjoy was really nice and a unique feature. The facilities were nice and it was central to a lot of things.

If you are arriving by car, be prepared for a bit of a walk to get there as it is in a pedestrian only area.

The location is perfect for a visit to Porto! The home is located with an amazing view and close to both the old village as well as the river and port houses. Alberto is a wonderful host and was very helpful in getting us situated with parking and acquainting us with the home and the beautiful city of Porto. We would definitely return on a later visit!

The view was very nice this was the best bit.

There was ants in the beds we kept waking up to them had to get out of bed was in the ,baby cots, suitcases, bathrooms, kitchen and in our food left on side every day. Cleaning horrible. Owner turns up with no notice at night when wife was feeding baby. Then flooded the grass with hose so couldn't sit and enjoy the view as was mushy. Smashed mirror in kitchen. Dirty pans, glasses and cutlery. This is the reason for ants. Booking.Com agreed with us and also offered us compensation as they seen the photos and videos we sent them. Don't be fooled by photos please guys alot of money. ( WONT LET ME UPLOAD VIDEO WE FILMED OF IT)

There isn’t enough space here to say all that we loved about the property. The outdoor space is bigger and more beautiful than pictured. Arrived to find Alberto waiting to help me with my luggage, and provide a welcome bottle of wine. The property was clean and well cared for, fully stocked with anything you may need during your stay. There is 1.5 bathrooms which worked out perfect tot for the three of us during our stay. The side office works well as a dressing room. If I ever am lucky enough to come back to Porto there is no where else I would want to stay.

This isn’t a complaint about the property but as other reviews have said be ready for the stairs. The entire area is full of the most beautiful small alleys with steps. Inside the ladder to the third floor was no issue for us at all but people should just take heed it is a ladder.

This place has great views and it was in the center so the location is ideal. A lovely welcome from the host and a lovely welcome package. It was really lovely to have an out door space and that is a highlight of the property. The interior is nice and really well equipped. Porto itself is just fabulous. If you get a chance then I'd recommend booking a canoe trip to the national park. Its about an hour away from porto but we had just the best day.

The seating in the living room was not very comfy or spacious. (We had a night indoors due to someone being unwell) The second bedroom you have to walk through the main bedroom and is accessible by a ladder - we have 2 teenage boys so the place was fine for us. I think older adults, 2 couples or those with very young children might not find this place suitable. I think it does say that in the description now I've looked back but its easy to miss and the photos are not that clear. There is no air con but it was still cool enough (we went in May)

This unique property, with private garden, has a stunning location overlooking the Douro river. Alberto, the owner personally greeted us on arrival. Lots of welcoming touches - wine and water in the fridge, lots of tea and coffee and a lovely bowl of fruit to enjoy. Very helpful that our host organised our taxi to the airport on departure.

The second bedroom could only be reached through the main bedroom via a steep loft ladder. This was manageable for us (and we’re close friends with the other couple) …. but it wasn’t obvious from the pictures. It was mentioned in the small print about the property but guests could miss this important info.
