Fantastic view and location! A little hard to find even with any of the mapping apps. Be prepared to walk some hills and stairs but totally worth the view!

The host was gracious and very helpful. The view was spectacular!! I also really enjoyed the small outdoor areas.

It was overall good but you have to walk through the larger bedroom to get to the loft.

Alberto was a lovely host who gave nice tips on where to try on our stay. The terrace offers amazing views of Ponte Luiz and the River Douro. Centrally located and near lots of tourist attractions and restaurants. The cable car and funicular were great fun if you dont fancy walking up lots of steps.

Great historical location - built into rocks - terraces with spectacular views. Gracious host that was wonderful in greeting us and explaining everything and making us feel welcome. Comfy beds. Just really unique and interesting space. Honestly the terraces and views are worth staying here and anything I say in what I did not like is just so people that have issues with stairs or privacy do not book it. This place is perfect for a couple!

There was no privacy in the apartment with 4 adults. No doors except on bathrooms. I do not think they can add doors due to the uniqueness of this space. People should not bring young children or adults that are much older as the sleeping loft is accessed by a ladder. That is where the twin beds are. There are stairs to get in and out so anyone having any trouble with stairs should not rent - although much of Portugal is built on hills with lots of stairs. You cannot drive to the property so must bring luggage down stairs from Cathedral.

The view was spectacular! We enjoyed sitting outside at night after long days up and down hills and steps . It’s a beautiful apartment , with everything we needed .

We didn’t know there was a ladder up to the second bedroom , we made it work but it wasn’t ideal . Also , we didn’t realize we’d have to walk up many steps with our luggage .

Great location, owner was super friendly and helpful. Beautiful home and balcony was perfect with a wonderful view- great for a glass of wine in the evening

Fabulous terrace with an amazing view of the river and beyond. Great apartment for 2 people with well equipped kitchen and living area.

The ladder to 2nd bedroom! It's very steep and no handrail at the top! In fact it is dangerous if a toilet visit is needed in the night. Also, you have to walk through the main bedroom to get to the ladder, and the bathroom is next to the bed. So, there is no privacy. It would be perfect for 2 people but wouldn't recommend it for 4.
