Great location & so kind owner!

Absolutely unbeatable views of the bridge, river & Ribeira! If you can climb stairs and don’t mind a ladder to the second bedroom, absolutely book this stay! It’s one of our most beloved and memorable stays ever! Here are the high points: -View, view, and more views! -Two great outdoor spaces. Unreal actually. -Modern interior with all you need to cook, including an oven. -Washer included and lines to dry clothing outside. -Central for walking old town Porto. So close, you can have lunch at the house. -Doorways are low and unless you’re below 5’6”, you will likely hit your head at least once! :D -Generally quiet, although the hum and dinging of trains on the bridge is constant—we found it charming. You can hear music and crowds from the Ribeira, but it didn’t continue late at night and didn’t affect our sleep. -A helpful and kind owner.

A couple of down sides to keep in mind: -we didn’t get navigation tips on time and dead-ended at construction in a very narrow one-way alley. My husband had to back up and do a ten point turn in a slightly wider spot. Sketchy! But the kind owner met us there and guided us to safety! -there is free parking behind the cathedral behind the flat. It is very narrow. -there are uneven, rock stairs required to get to the front door. There are two sets of stairs and a ladder to the third bedroom. -bring your own pillow if you can—they are very uncomfortable.

Such a unique property! It was nice to have the space and enjoy the terraces! A little hard to find but owner was helpful! I don’t recommend trying to find at night and be prepared to haul luggage up/down stairs! Lots of stairs. The second bedroom is a loft with a ladder (which we knew about in advance). We loved it though!!!

The location is absolutely fantastic. Best view in the city from the garden!

The apartment is about a third the way down on the Stairs of Truth, so can only be accessed via foot.

The property had a beautiful view. We loved the terrace.

Amazing view and super clean.

Do not go to Porto if you have mobility issues. This is a hilly town and we liked that.

The location couldn’t have been any better for visiting Porto and all the tourist attractions.

It was a bit chilly when we arrived but warmed up the next day after having the heaters on. No heaters in the bathrooms though. But it was January so not a surprise to us.
