"Exceptional"

Lovely, spacious apartment close to all the attractions. Great restaurants close by.

Very hilly surroundings, so not great if mobility is an issue. It was fine for us and quite liked not being right in the centre of Lisbon.

"Mouraria House"

Beds were very comfortable, balcony & washer were a nice feature, kitchen was well stocked, high chair & playpen available for the baby, very clean & quiet, location is good but very steep hills if walking to metro. I would stay again.

No elevator, apartment is on the 2nd floor with two flights of stairs. I must have missed that in the description. Luckily, taxi driver helped with our bags & stroller wagon.

"Great location, comfortable apartment, lovely Lisbon!"

We were given a code for the outer door and one for the key box - couldn't have been easier. The apartment was clean and comfortable and as described. The location is superb! There is a free funicular almost next door that lifts you up to Cathedral level and the area of Graca where there are some excellent restaurants and cafes. Walking down hill from the apartment it's easy to reach the centre. Several small shops and restaurants are nearby - note that the lovely little cafe nearby is closed at the weekend and the restaurants around the corner closed on Sundays (could be a seasonal thing).

We had a couple of issues with one of the bathrooms, which the host investigated promptly, otherwise all was good.
