The location is amazing! You're a close bus ride to the city centre, but not in the noise and chaos of downtown. Restaurants are far less expensive outside of the old town area, and there is a great grocery store right across the street. It's an easy (but steep, of course) walk to the promenade and about 40-45min to Camara de Lobos, a great place to visit outside of Funchal.

Apartment has an excellent view to the ocean, location is super to visit the Island with bus station just in front of the house. We could park in the closed garden. Our host was one of the best host we ever met, she sent really useful information, we could easily contact her with every question. A really good place to sit on the balcony and listening the voice of the ocean. If you are looking for something cozy, not luxurious accommodation, this apartment is very good value for money.

Very nice independent apartment with a balcony and a wonderful view of the ocean. Very well connected to the airport and the center of Funchal. Nearby there is a walking promenade by the ocean, a pebble beach, a shop and several restaurants. Quiet neighborhood. The owner of the facility is very nice and sent a lot of useful information.

The property is relatively close to the center of Funchal. From the Balcony you can have a stunning view of the beach and the mountains. Has all facilities in the apartment, Very close to supermarket and bus stop. Maria, the host is amazing, prompt to answer at any queries, has lot of tips about the city. She is lovely.

Great place to stay, near city center and Formosa Beach. Stunning view from the window, wonderful, cozy terrace and free parking… felt like home :) Highly recommended to stay here

Absolutely nothing

Nice place, host and location!!! All essential things in the kitchen, good shower. Access to the pool, bus stop and supermarket very close to the place. And the best thing - personal sunset view from the balcony!
