Sweet Spot Marina Apartments

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet, perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub mit Familie und Freunden. Alles ist sauber und die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Mit außergewöhnlichem Blick auf das Meer und den Strand.

Die Schlüsselübergabe war an einem anderen Gebäude, welches nur nach längerem Fußweg zu erreichen war. Die eingeschränkte Check-In-Zeit war vor der verbindlichen Buchung und Zahlung nicht ersichtlich. Eine Schlüsselherausgabe (gegen 19:30 Uhr) war nur gegen eine unquittierte Barzahlung einer Gebühr möglich.

Two floors and a balcony, so lots of space. There's a clothes washing machine and a clothes line on the balcony so I was able to do my laundry and dry it overnight. You can walk to the beach from this house. There's a good kitchen in the apartment. There's an excellent large supermarket just across the road.

Check out from my previous place was 10 and check in to Sweet spot is at 4, except it isn't, because you have to go to the office get your key, with other people, then walk to the flat (too close for an Uber but about 15 20 mins walk dragging luggage) wait for the cleaners etc. Sweet spot did do me the favour of looking after my luggage but it's a long wait and at 10 the following day they are there to check that you are leaving. The bed is a metal frame fold up camp bed and it's really uncomfortable for a 140 a night place.

Location is good and the big terrace is nice. Washing machine is a nice touch in the apartment

Bed is the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. It's a rollaway bed with a terrible mattress. Very cheap and shabby. The place itself is old, not well maintained and not clean. There is not enough toilet paper, no detergent for cutlery and clothes. No toilet paper at all in the second toilet nor soap and towel. No AC in the apartment and the hot water in the shower lasts exactly 3 minutes. Also the idea to pick up keys at one location to go to the apartment on the other side of the city is terrible business. Also you can only pick up your keys in the period of 3 hours, from 16 to 19. If you pick up afterwards you have to pay a fee which is ridiculous. And before 16h you can't check in. Of course Overall too expensive and not worth the money. Even if it was half the price it wouldn't be worth it. Maybe if you only need to sleep one night in Lagos

Check in is a long way from the property. I was not able to get the keys till 5.00pm unit was not ready until 5.30. No where to drop keys on departure. Enquired with booking office and was told to leave the keys inside and leave apartment unlocked. I did this but didn't feel comfortable with this arrangement. A simple key safe on the wall would be the answer.

I arrived in Lagos at 15-00 - and had my taxi drop me off at the location - en route to the apartment. Unfortunately no one was available until 16-00 to give me my keys... My taxi couldn't wait - which meant I had to walk - with luggage to the apartment. I was very disappointed to find that the apartment - and location was actually different to what I thought I booked on line... The location was close - but the actual apartment wasn't the one shown on the website. Location was crucial to me .. Finally I didn't realise the gas supply was via a butane cylinder and limited. One morning there was no hot water - and the stove wouldn't light... The gas bottle had run out. - I phoned the office - and a maintenance man arrived - he was extremely helpful - but he had to go away and come back after he had bought another cylinder - so it took a few hours to restore the gas.
