Casa d Sintra

Excellent location. Clean and comfortable beds. Carlos the owner met us on way into Sintra to help us navigate the streets and find a place to park. The streets are very narrow and one way. Very easy to become confused.

I liked the location and comfort of the apartment

I can't think of something I didn't like.

The location was perfect in the heart of the historic district.Close to everything. It was equipped with everything we needed, even first aid kit and fully equipped kitchen. Heating and shower excellent.

The location is perfection! You walk out if the apartment and there is an amazing restaurant right across the walk and you are just around the corner from some of the best. Travesseiro. You are a 13 minute walk to Quinta da Regaleira and the National Palace is located just across the street. The apartment was spacious and clean. Mary met us for check in and gave is a ton of information about Sintra. I highly recommend this location.

Great location in old Sintra. Super nice and helpful owner!

Owner met us and led us to his permit parking spot and then to the unit, provided us the keys, and advised us on how to get around and then how to get out of town. The unit is an apartment within a townhouse which is very old but safe, clean, and comfortable. The unit is very near several very good restaurants and the key site seeing spots in Sintra (the Palace is within 50 yards and the Quinta da Regaleira and Initiation Well about 200 yards).

The unit is an apartment and is small in size typical of many European facilities. It has a working kitchen but if you are travelling to Sintra don't use the kitchen step outside and eat at one of the many good restaurants just outside the door of the unit. You don't need a car in Sintra but if you drive I pray you have a smaller car as the roads in Sintra are more like alleys as they are very narrow. Our rental company gave us an upgrade to a larger car which worked well for most of our travels but it was difficult once we entered Sintra (thus Carlos took time to advise us on how to get out of Sintra).
