Villa Formosa

Good location. Very clean.

Not air conditioner.

Good day reat view from the balcony to the ocean , good location, excellent support on any issue from the hostess!

The advertised apartment shown in the photos is very comfortable and well-equipped but it is not the apartment I was given on arrival or for 4 nights of my week's stay. I was expected to pay the full price, in cash, despite this.

I was not advised before I arrived that I was in the 'loft conversion', not shown in any pictures, which was small, cramped with a tiny port hole window, no balconies, wood floors or sea views. This apartment 'B' should be advertised separately, for less money. Why is only cash payment accepted by the Villa in the 21st Century in a country which uses multiple payment options?

Good location close to beach Formosa. Great host. Clean place with nice looking garden. Mostly quiet and good place to rest after sightseeing Madeira.

A bit smaller than we originally thought, not a huge problem. Since apartment F was a room without windows, only glass door in front so it had ventilation problems. Ventilation could be better.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable apartment. Bus stop right outside. Pria formosa beach short walk/bus ride. Great for sunrise/sunset swims. Beautiful view of the sea. The host is amazing , host communication throughout my stay. Maria ,i will be coming back. Thanks so much.

A wonderful vacation thanks to the owners of Villa Formosa. We will be happy to return to this accommodation again.
