Villa Formosa

The location and the view over the ocean of the flat were perfect. The terrace is very agreable. The flat is cosy and well arranged. Maria is very welcoming and ready to give good advices! Thank you very much!

We enjoyed well furnished and equipped apartment with the ocean view. The Landlord Maria was very friendly and helpful. We even received papaya and bananas from their garden. The villa is outside city center, which we liked because it was quite and peacfull. There is a beach and walking path along the ocean nearby. A bus stop to the center is just 2 min walk. If we travel to Madeira again we will stay in Villa Formosa.

Location good. Out of busy Funchal yet easy to get to Funchal by bus/car

Amazing view from the terrace, also we didn't have any contact with other visitors as we had a separate entrance to the building. Around 15-20 min from the beach walking

the flat is located close to the quite noisy street so we could hear cars during the night

We enjoyed the location, how centred and beautiful it is. The host was lovely and answered any questions really quick and effectively. Super nice and a really good introduction to the nice and helpful people of Madeira. The house was comfortable and really clean and well thought for a group friends staying in on holidays.

We would enjoy if there was more ventilation in the room as we didn't think the fan provided was enough for the temperature of the accomodation from the hot weather on the island. There is also an issue with mosquitoes, we understand there is not the host responsibility but perhaps let the guess know in advance to buy mosquitoes killer spray.
