Cascais-Estoril BEACHFRONT Apartments

Everything is great - especially the location.

Location! Location! Location! The position was excellent. Just outside the apartment take a right & walk through the subway to the railway & also beautiful Tamariz beach. The railway connected direct to Lisbon in about 30 minutes, and 2 short stops to Cascais. Railway travel is very reasonable. You can also walk along the Promenade to Cascais. We visited during a heatwave (30C) & the air conditioning was very welcome. We had a wonderful stay here & visited Lisbon several times & also took a trip to Sintra by bus which was very picturesque & interesting. Miguel was very helpful with suggestions for trips & restaurants. He also supplied extra towels on request. The supermarket downstairs was useful for fresh milk and fresh bread.

Use of a few beach chairs & a parasol would have been useful - but we bought these locally.

The property is really well located within walking distance of the beach and local supermarket and restaurants nearby. Miguel was an amazing host, ensuring we felt at home and had plenty of recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and the local culture.

I was lovely.

It is in a good position near the beach and train station, has a pleasant view from the balcony, but that is all!

We stayed for 9 nights in April ‘25 and were disappointed to find the apartment in a poor run down, dirty condition. It is in desperate need of maintenance, repair and a refresh/deep clean. The windows have not been cleaned and the sofa covers are stained as are the pillows and duvet, which need replacing along with new bed linen and towels I read through previous comments and noticed that photographs put on by a guest in Dec 23 are very true and NOT photoshopped as claimed by Miguel. Please refer to my photographs taken 1st May 25. The bathroom emits a strong drain smell that spreads to the rest of the apartment and is noticeable when you walk in. The photographs of the apartment in the listing show it in a much better condition than it is. I suggest you read the critical reviews before making your own decision. Relevant points have been raised over the past few years which are true and have not been addressed.

Very good location, close to train, beach, cafes etc. Good for walks, nice views. Balcony with table.

There was no table in the room. It was at times too cold to eat on the balcony.
