Modern Apartment Calçada São Francisco II

The apartment was beautiful with everything we needed! Nice updated appliances and great showers. Beds were super comfortable 🫶🏻. Super quick walk to Centro Historica, Shopping streets and the ocean.

Slightly noisy from 6am-10pm with Tram line out front. No elevator..only 1 flight of stairs but with luggage and a senior it was a bit awkward carrying luggage. Better instructions could be made for the washer/dryer and AC.

Great location, in the centre. beautiful well equipped spacious apartment. It is on the 28 tram line which can be noisy. . Would definitely recommend a stay and host was very helpful.

Location, Location, Location. The apartment was spacious and comfortable (with a Queen size bed and 2 twin beds). A lot of sunlight through the windows. Right above a fantastic breakfast place. One can smell the breakfast in the morning I booked last minute (when I was stepping on the plane) and our host Sophia was quick to answer me in her middle of the night. She also checked on us a few times while we were there (5days).

Nothing much. But if you need absolute quiet to sleep...the apartment is on first floor and close to tram track. We slept through everything because of all the walking on Lisbon. The windows are double pane and another set of wooden shutter helped block out noise

The property was centrally located and it was a real bonus having two bathrooms.

The street can be busy with traffic given it’s a main route through the city centre but with the windows and shutters closed at night this minimised the noise.

Beautiful apartment with everything you could want. Excellent location. Really nice and accommodating hosts.

The flat was very spacious and extremely well equipped (including different kinds of pots and pans, coffee machine (for DolceGusto type capsules-the larger ones) hair dryers, hair iron etc) Location is also great, close to the historical centres, shopping streets, train station to Sintra etc

The noise from the trams and the traffic in the street. But we understand that this is out of the control of the landlord. Maybe a reminder for ear plugs would be useful :)

The location was in central Lisbon and within walking distance of many of the sites and shops and cafes. There is a breakfast shop next door called "Dear Breakfast" which serves a wide variety of breakfast foods, from continental to fancy eggs benedict. Less than a block away is a local pub called "23 Beers" which has a multitude of beer choices and has excellent pizza with very generous portion sizes.

This comment is not a 'don't like" but a word of caution if you have any type of mobility issues. This apartment sits halfway up a hilly block and the sidewalk is very uneven as is the street (all cobblestones). I have a permanent ankle injury and needed to use my cane to keep balanced. For the three other members of my party, none of whom had mobility issues, the hilliness and uneven surface was not a problem.
