Portas do Castelo Apartments

Cute, quaint, arty- very basic, but a great location. It's really a large room- but it suited us just fine. Many steps to get to it.

This beautiful old town area is VERY hilly and there are LOTS of steps. If you choose to experience the cobble stone streets, painted houses and cute shops and restaurants- you accept the hills

Very sociable host, very helpful. Local cafes for wonderful breakfast. Lots of steps :) Lovely apartment, full of character.

Good customer service. Prompt, friendly and helpful. Comfortable furniture. The view and patio!

The key to the inside apartment door is at the foot of the door. You have to bend/squat or go on your knees to turn the lock, and it's not an easy lock to maneuver. The bathroom door was extremely heavy, and when you close it, the knob pops off. I'm sure it's easily fixable.

The location was perfect and the apartment staffs are very helpful !

Steep stairs to the entrance (2-3 flights) Cannot leave/store your luggage at all Non-existent staff. There is nobody to help you with anything for that matter. Dampness (fruit flies everywhere) Basic amenities, such as tea, coffee not available A wifi that works only in the living room Horrible cancellation policies. They advertise no prepayment but charge your card way before you check-in. Pathetic customer care (misguides you) Property messaged that we must rate them a minimum of 9/10.
