Porto Douro River Guest House

This was our second time staying in one of Cristina's apartments. She is a wonderful host, eager to share her love of Porto and surrounding areas. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the view over the river Douro is spectacular. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking.

Excellent location. Nice apartment in very old building. Tiny balcony made it for us. Excellent transport links into town and down to the coast.

Very noisy spot! Day and into the late evening. Need earplugs! Uncomfortable pillows.

Balkonen var meget lille, kloak lugt på toilettet.

I loved everything about my three nights stay st Porto Douro River Guest House. It was in a fabulous location with a sweet balcony & large windows showcasing a stunning view of the river. The trams ran past the apartment, and bus stops were conveniently located right out front to catch bus in whichever direction you should choose. Cristina was a lovely, friendly helpful host. Communication was excellent and easy as were directions to property. The guest house was well equipped & I felt safe at all times. Cristina provided me with so much helpful information about Porto & fabulous suggestions to see and do. There are restaurants right below the apartment and others close by. She was always available should I need. I would return to Porto River Guest House in a heartbeat. Obrigado Cristina for a wonderful, memorable stay in Riberia, Porto.

El depto es muy cálido, está muy bien puesto .No le falta absolutamente nada!! Cama cómoda, linda vista al Duero. Muchos transportes a mano en frente del depto, lindos lugares para comer. A una cuadra hay un súper.

El baño despide un poco de olor Pero es de a ratos. Se cierra la puerta y no pasa nada. Totalmente aceptable.

We were transferred to the apt above as requested by the host prior to our arrival - Everything needed and more supplied by the excellent host. Equipment - maps - timetables. Close to great supermarket( two min walk closed at 9pm) - more than three restaurants and bars directly below apartment. Approx 20min walk into Porto town.

Cristina is a fantastic host. She picked us up from the airport, showed us the flat and talked us through places to visit for a short trip. The apartment is lovely, overlooking the Douro and a short walk into town or easily reached by trams & and buses go from nearby stops.
