The owner Cristina was fabulous and incredibly helpful. The location near the river was great with grocery and restaurants nearby. The small balcony was cute with a great view. It is an easy bus to the center of Porto but far enough away if you want to get out of the scene. We walked it one night and it was about a mile. Uber was also readily available and not that expensive by US standards. We enjoyed dining at Bulas just a block away.

On hot days you can open the windows but no screens. Seems like that is standard in Portugal.

The apartment has a great location ideal for exploring Porto - it’s comfortable, well equipped and has a nice balcony and view of the river Douro Cristina was an excellent host with lots of great recommendations for experiencing Porto There are restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance - and great transport links with buses and trams - the historic centre of Porto is also within walking distance There are some that might say there is traffic noise - but heh - it’s a city apartment which you will always get anywhere where you have a vibrant city The coffee machine was great and sipping morning coffee with pastries on a balcony in early autumn was just great!

Location and facilities. Cristina was very helpful.

Brilliant location with lovely views of the Douro. We loved that we could park right outside and there was a choice of restaurants on the doorstep without having to walk to the more touristy parts of the old town. Cristina gave us numerous options of things to do in Porto with detailed instructions which was much appreciated.

The view from the apartment is amazing. The bed is very comfortable.

There is a lot of noise all the time. From the street, from the neighbours, from the church and so on. Really hard to sleep.

The mirror wall made it so the living area could not be used at night without disturbing someone in bed with the light.

The host Christina provided an optional airport pick up service from Porto airport.. Christina kindly gave us a brief driving tour of the city and dropped us to a restaurant still serving. Very grateful!

The bathroom was a little damp so it was difficult for towels to dry. The apartment and view was exquisite
