Duque in Chiado II

Super well equipped, really comfortable apartment, we loved it ❤️

Everything, it was perfect for us, such a funky place ❤️

Wonderful location, quick walking distance to Rossio square and the train station, also convenient to anywhere in Chiado, including restaurants on the very same street. Apartment was as described, and even had a nice attic area which our son immediately claimed for himself. Everything worked, there were enough towels and bed linen, overall well met expectations. It's a bit of a climb to the top floor but we expected it. We were also able to check in a couple of hours earlier, which was very kind of the host.

The bathroom could use a towel hook, and the shower doors have a gap so water runs out.

Nothing

Our plan was 1 hour late landing so when we landed I immediately text saying we would be an hour later than the initial expected time. I received a “ohhh well I am already here” response which made us feel guilty for something we couldn’t control. We then arrived at the location after the Uber dropped us on the wrong road to be told “the door is open” after repeatedly saying it’s not, we were buzzed in and the man who greeted us wasn’t overly friendly. Took our tourist tax, gave us the keys and left.

The bathroom has a very very big step up to it so when you’re coming out you need to be careful. The toilet doesn’t appear connected to the floor so moves and doesn’t have a good flush so you have to do it a couple times. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work.

The apartment itself was a true gem. It was not only impeccably clean but also surprisingly spacious, providing ample room for me and my family. What truly impressed me was how well-equipped the apartment was. We arrived before the official check-in time, and the host graciously allowed us to drop off our luggage, giving us the freedom to start exploring the city right away.The place is centally located,execllent location very close to the Rossio station and walking distance to main city, there is a loft space as well, the view from the balcony was simply breathtaking, offering a picturesque view of Lisbon that's unforgettable, especially during sunrise and sunset.. the area is safe and nice, the host Sophia is very resposive to any messages you send her and would reply within hours ( I had contacted her prior to the stay , to ask her about Lisbon). She even made sure to provide umbrella for the rainy day.

The Apatment is on the 3rd floor , if you have heavy luggage , it may be hard, however we travelled light and was easy for us. other that that we were very impressed with the place.
