Duque in Chiado II

Location was fantastic Kitchen supplies were great Super quiet Incredible views of the city , and across to George’s Castle

very disappointed with this booking. It was hard to even find a time to check in- after going back and forth we waited an hour for the girl to be ready for the check in. so finally at 6 pm I was on the way- my uber ran 10 mins late and the girl wanted to reschedule for a few hours later instead of waiting for 10 mins. Also no cars would go down the street because it was narrow so i dragged my luggages to the apartment. Finally I make it to the apartment and to my surprise, I have to go up 3 flights of stairs with no help, which felt a lot more because the stairs were very narrow it was harder to carry the luggage up. There was also no central heating in the apartment and it was very cold. The apartment had one veryyyy tiny trash can in the bathroom and she told us to clean the apartment before leaving/ take the trash out as well. The bathroom also had hair and did not look clean. Overall from start to end, I was not satisfied with this whole experience.

Amazing location and views of the city from the balcony. Warm welcoming, with small welcome gift which was a really nice touch.

Only very, very minor thing was that it was a bit chilly when we arrived, but once we got the space heaters going is was as cozy as could be!

Very central location with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, beautiful view from the balcony, great communication from the host.

There are a lot of stairs up the apartment but you get used to them and that’s why the view is so good! The balcony is small but we managed to fit 4 of us alongside each other, not a big issue but worth knowing.

We had an excellent stay at Duque in Chiado. Sofia kept in contact with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and was even kind enough to arrange a slightly earlier check-in for us. The apartment is in a fantastic location, with lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The view from the balcony is stunning, and we really enjoyed having the yoga/meditation space on the mezzanine.

The bed in the main bedroom was comfy, but we found the pull out single beds slightly uncomfortable. And there was some noise coming from the next door apartment, which woke us up a couple of times. Apart from that, we had a great stay!

Beautiful quirky apartment with an amazing view. It was incredibly central with numerous local attractions and restaurants but still was fairly quite at night

During peak season the heat in the apartment could be a little challenging so a cool breeze was your friend!
