Quinta Tallinus

We had an amazing stay at Quinta Tallinus, which made our holiday in Madeira perfect. The appartment is very cosy and equipped with everything one needs. The setting in the banana orchard is just charming. Miguel is the perfect host, friendly, helpful, with lots of good recommendations for food and trips. The bar around the corner is a great spot to enjoy a drink among the locals. The portfolio for tourists in the house is very helpful. We rented a car from Miguel and it was very good. Beware of the very steep roads of Madeira, challenging even for experienced drivers! We’ll be back!

The location was great, situated between the banana trees, fresh air and silence.

Well located, clean and big house with all house appliances , nice yard. Owner is friendly and helps a lot, he even let us to check in early in the morning.

The host was amazing! Miguel gave us lots of tips about the island and super easy to check in. The view was stunning and the location was really good. Right next to the property there’s a great Poncha bar , so no risk of driving after Poncha! The bed was really comfortable and in the end that what’s matter because we spent our days exploring the island.

The clean was not great and it didn’t provide hairdryer.

Nice place and overall nice area, we received the small apartment, was ok, lot of bananas trees and nice view from the top of the apartment. The host and owner very promptly with replies and very helpful with informations. Very nice person

could be better clean,especially the bathroom, also was very humid, and was difficile to keep towels dry after a shower, and lot of mosquitoes.l, would be great to put some electric mosquito killer plug.The toilet door was a sliding door without a minimum of isolation, hot water in the shower very difficult to manage, or too hot (very) or quite cold... Needs some little attention.
