Studio in the heart of Alfama by Lisbeyond

The location is very nice and a staff member helped us to find when we arrived in the good street. Someone was waiting for us to do the check-in and we appreciated that. The bed was very confortable and we didn't have any problem about noise from the neighbors to sleep even if we heard them a lot sometimes in the early evening.

I didn't like the fact to have to go on another website to do the online check in (we finally did it when we arrived) and they didn't tell us that we had to pay the city tax in cash if we wanted to do it at our arrival. But they were very kind because they accepted to collect the city tax money later.

Everything was adequate and comfortable

The apartment had a musky smell that needed airing, and the air-conditioning also had musky smell

The size is very good. Also there's a lot of appliances to use, everything working perfectly. Good attention on reception. Location ia great, even with a convenience store just within a few meters.

The hot water pressure could be better. Also is a bit odd to have the bathroom inside the kitchen. Never saw something like that.

The location was perfect, if you want to stay in Alfama. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive,

The walls are so thin that I could hear everything happening in the hallway and in the neighboring rooms. Additionally, the water pressure in the shower dropped significantly when I tried to adjust the temperature to warmer.

Was a cute apartment located off a quiet side street. Was within walking distance of lots of cafes/restaurants/mini markets and was close to public transport links. The apartment itself was on the small side but was perfect for my friend and I for a few nights. The fully equipped kitchen came in useful when we didn't fancy eating out for every meal.

The stairs to the apartment were very steep as many reviews mention, however, you know this when you book (as is listed in description and in photos) so wasn't a surprise or inconvenience.

Location was great

We were there 5 nights, for 2 people we received 4 towels, 2 small ones we used for hands, when we asked if they can bring us again to us after 3 nights and to bring toilet paper, they said it's additional costs. Looks bigger in pictures.

Attention: very steep stairs.

Very clean and quiet place located very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Short walking distance to the city center and other attractions.

It's an old building so the stairs are very steep and it was difficult to get my suitcase up
