Casas Barulho Albufeira Marina

Nice familly appartment with balcony, fully equiped kitchen, with direct acess to pool and marina. Very quiet with its own parking (strongly recommend a car to visit Algarve). Ruben was helpful with everything. Albufeira is nice and central to visit Algarve, in the middle of Faro and Lagos.

Maybe the sofa for kids should be renewed.

Location was quiet, only a short drive to the busy party area of Albufeira. Ruben was very organized and contacted us on WhatsApp before we arrived and was easy to get hold of with questions. Decor is dated but clean and comfortable. Good size living room/dining room. Nice to have underground parking included with the stay.

Super nice area with restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. And it didn’t feel crowded eventhough high season. It would have been a plus if the beach was closer.

It would have been ideal if old town was not 25 min walk away

Apartment was roomy, all amenities you need. Location and outlook was fantastic. Marina bars /restaurants were lovely(so glad to be there and not in the Old town rabble) Reuben was supportive and ensured all going well

The only slight improvements I would suggest is: - air con could have been cooler in bedroom (it was exceptionally hot) - possibly could look at a grabrail for getting in/out of shower over bath, quite a deep step in/out - needs comfier seating on balcony - tin chairs heated up in sun and were too hard to sit on

Location at the marina was ideal. Short walk from old town. Short taxi trip to the strip. Fantastic host. Lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need. Very quiet on a night allowing for a good nights sleep.

Shared pool was not regularly cleaned. Only cleaned once while we were there. Lots and lots of dead bugs in it daily which was off putting. Not down to the host though but down to those responsible for site maintenance

I liked how central it was. A Couple minutes walk into town easy to catch ubber or taxi.. Lots of activity surrounding the accommodation.. it was a beautiful place to be.

Only thing I didn't like was that they didn't have better pool facilities for children. The pool itself was too deep, I felt very uneasy bringing children to the pool as other holiday makers weren't too happy with the kids being present.. maybe having allocated time slots for children would be a help.. but other than that I couldn't fault the apartment it was a lovely home from home. Cosy and great air conditioning.. perfect place for couples.. but the pool areas aren't suitable for children.

Very friendly host. Everything was very well arranged and if there was something, he took care of it immediately. Everything, all your living needs were present, from dishwasher to washing machine and cooking supplies. It was a nice walk towards the city, so it was nice and quiet in the area. But if you wanted a quick drink, there were some bars right below the apartments. Parking was very good! But watch the video! :)
