Carmo Apartments

The hosts were wonderful, the apartment was clean and stocked, and the location is very central. Tiago had plenty of recommendations for sights to see during our visit.

The apartment is located in Chiado - right by the Armazens mall. It's a very central location, but plenty of street performers perform there late into the night - you will hear performers singing off-key at 1am.

Very helpful and agreeable host. Huge bathroom. Quality of the bed. Functional kitchen. Cosy apartment. Ideal for young adults with no kids who wish to enjoy the day and night in Lisbon.

Extremely noisy from end of afternoon till late night as the apartment is located in a very touristic and crowded street (concerts in the street down below, noisy neighbors) Lack of privacy due to window in living room situated right in front of a staircase with lots of traffic. Lack of sound isolation from windows in the living room. No direct access by taxi or Uber. Not ideal for family with small children

It was in center,very close with everything and metro

Excellent and communicative hosts, wonderful and convenient location- easy access to everything. Apartment has everything we needed and was very comfortable.

It’s on a very busy street so expect some noise.

Host met us on-site and walked us thru the property, provided contact information and restaurant/shopping recommendations. It was a VERY nicely appointed1-bedroom apartment located on the 5th floor with Elevators and extremely close to Santa Justa Elevator. The metro/Bus/Tram system makes getting around Lisbon very easy. The metro station closest to this apartment is the Baixa-Chiado. I was unaware that it was High Season in Portugal and would have chosen a different time to visit this fantastic city.

The location of the property is perfect. Close to dozens of restaurants, entertainment, train station and of course the ocean.

A little loud at times but not a big problem.
