the host was precise, fast and also provided many suggestions for our stay in Lisbon. The apartment was very clean, cosy and functional. The location was also great!

Being on a very central street, it is a bit noisy at night. We also had many mosquitos... it would have been great to have nets on the windows to mitigate the issue.

Location is fantastic. Loved having a kitchen and a bit more space travelling with a toddler.

Bed was very uncomfortable. We expected the noise from the street but it was the noise from the neighbouring apartment that bothered us. They weren't being overly loud, but the walls are extremely thin.

Perfect location for our first trip to Lisbon. Was a mama/two sons trip. Easy access to the metro so airport transfer was simple. Close to everything and safe neighborhood. Very central location so many of the major neighborhoods and sites are within 5-20 min walk. Great view. The host Tiago was fabulous to work with, so courteous and prompt. He made some great suggestions for myself and my sons. Answered all our questions and checked in on us each day. Very clean. Loved having the kitchenette so we could have some basic groceries on hand for breakfast. Great bathroom and shower!! Interesting building with a Portuguese language school on several of the lower floors. It was nice to have elevators to carry luggage and tired feet at the end of the day. We were sad to leave!!!

Hard bed but I slept like a rock after each day of walking many miles!!! Gets warm in the apartment—no A/C, but was just fine for us with fans and strategic opening and closure of windows.

We loved the location, downtown Lisbon, close to restaurants, shopping & taxis. Tiagio, the host was great to work with, very helpful with answers to all our questions. He sent us restaurant suggestions frequently!

The bathroom door doesn't stay shut, needs a new magnet. Everything else was great. Note:this is a noisy, busy street closed to car traffic during the day. Recommend a white noise devicefor sleeping.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and answered queries and requests almost immediately. The bed was extremely comfortable. The apartment is located just near Santa Justa Tower...in fact, you can see it from the window. It is in the historic centre...an interesting part of the city to explore. This apartment would be very suitable for those who are out until very late, can sleep through noise and aren't disturbed by repetitive music.

We should have researched the area more thoroughly. The alley where the Santa Justa Tower starts is a hang-out for many people who live an 'alternate' life-style and stay up most of the night. Most nights they used the alley to have jam sessions of drumming, music, etc. One group use plastic containers, tins and other odds and ends to drum. They tag-team each other so that the sound is continuous for many hours into the early hours of the morning. There is a lot of shouting and arguing from the laneway late at night and in the early hours of the morning. The host apologised and told us he has called the police, but no real action is taken. In order to block out the noise, you must have all the windows shut. This makes the apartment very hot and airless (no air conditioning). We had a small but inefficient floor fan which the host replaced with a water cooled fan. This actually made the humidity really oppressive. We also had to ask for a toaster and a kettle, both of which we think should be standard equipment.
