Can barley cook anything because the power cuts out really easily when the stove is on. Had to wait outside for 1hour past check in time to be given access to the key.

Nur 1 Schlafzimmer, nicht 2 Keine Fenster im Schlafzimmer Bad sehr klein Temperatur im Apartment sehr kalt im März Baustelle unten im Haus, sehr laut Allgemein sehr ringhörig

Bel endroit avec vue partielle sur l'eau et sur la rue pittoresque. Appartement spacieux, beau plancher de bois. Quartier calme et voisine du dessous charmante.

Robinet du lavabo de salle de bain fendu et qui nous asperge lors de son utilisation. Équipement de cuisine minimaliste et usé (poêles en particulier). Bouilloire hors service et non remplacée malgré la promesse faite par courriel. Pas de grille-pain. Clous dépassant du plancher à l'entrée du couloir ! Une ampoule à changer à la tête du lit.

L'appartement était globalement propre à notre arrivée mais nous avons trouvé des cafards pendant notre séjour notamment sur un matelas et dans une remise où était stocké le balai et l'aspirateur.

Dear Booking.com Support, I am writing to file a serious complaint regarding my recent stay in Lisbon (Alfama area) on 14–16 September. The experience was not only unacceptable but also dangerous for my family. 1. Boiler issue & false promises The host informed us before arrival that the boiler was broken but promised it would be fixed the next day (15 September). This never happened. For three days we had no hot water, despite repeated assurances and my numerous calls and messages to their “emergency” number — which went unanswered. 2. Unsafe and unacceptable alternative The host left keys to another apartment for us to use the shower. However, when we tried to enter, we were shocked to find people already living there. The man inside became extremely aggressive and attacked my father, who suffers from a heart condition. My father collapsed to the ground in pain. This situation put his health and life at risk and caused extreme stress to me and my elderly parents. 3. Failure of host & deception After this incident, the host promised a refund. However, they kept delaying with excuses (“manager not available,” “manager’s son is sick”), and now they are completely ignoring my messages. This is clear dishonesty and an attempt to avoid responsibility. This entire situation is a severe breach of safety, trust, and Booking.com’s standards. We were exposed to physical danger, health risks, and extreme emotional distress. Instead of providing rest, this trip became a traumatic experience for my family.

Great location, did the job

There was a cockroach in the room which my partner wasn’t happy about but we saw lots of them in the streets also so maybe it’s just something in Lisbon generally.
