Steep stairs to climb to get to room

The apartment was extremely old and had numerous serious issues. First of all, both the sink and the shower cabin were leaking, causing water to spread all over the floor. The faucet was broken, and water kept running uncontrollably. It was impossible to take a shower or even wash our hands. There were no bathroom amenities such as shower gel or shampoo, and there wasn't enough toilet paper. Sleeping at night was very difficult, as we could hear every sound the neighbors were making. The worst part was waking up in the morning to find water leaking from the ceiling — the apartment was flooded. Even though we had paid for one more night, we couldn’t imagine staying there in such conditions, so we decided to leave. We requested a refund for the night we were unable to spend there, but the owners have been completely ignoring us. I absolutely do not recommend staying at this apartment. The only positive aspect was the location, but it’s definitely not worth it.

Location

The 2nd bedroom was a closet. There was hardly enough bedding for one person. Multiple attempts to secure more bedding and a toilet plunger over 2 days and many different platforms were ignored I am sure the booking said parking but there was none

Located in the heart of Alfama, bringing the spirit of this charming place with walking distance to a very convenient public parking and of course, with all the small and cosy restaurants, pastries, shops…. Opening the balcony, you get directly in touch with the atmosphere of this magnetic place.

No windows in the bedroom, very narrow WC / bathroom with no hangers for the towels, cleanness could be better.

it's close to everything

The only problem I had was finding the apartment, it's a bit confusing, everything else was no problem.
