GuestReady - Alfama Terrace

Très bien situé, quartier calme et proche des transports. L’appartement est très joli, propre et calme.

La salle de bain est très petite et certain électroménager ne fonctionnaient pas ou faisaient disjoncter l’appartement. Problème de wifi mais l’équipe a été réactive

Notre appartement était un véritable petit bijou, situé en plein centre historique. Depuis la fenêtre, nous avions une vue imprenable sur le Panthéon et une agréable terrasse pour profiter de moments paisibles. La cuisine est bien équipée et les commerces comme les restaurants sont à proximité. Nous avons même pu assister à un fado au restaurant O Corrido, situé à seulement cinq minutes à pied

Location.

The studio (F) was quite small and lacking daylight. The bed was not very comfortable. The WiFi signal was intermittent. There was no welcome folder with information or instructions how to work the TV etc.. The safe was closed and no code provided. There is no noise insulation which means it's very noisy when guests in the apartment above walk about or talk, it's as if they are in the same room. The agency letting out the apartments was very responsive and helpful, but it seemed that the WhatsApp chat was monitored by different people who contradicted each other, so sorting out a problem with missing bedding took a day to finally resolve.

Nothing. Awful from start to finish

We booked Alfama Terrace through Guest ready because it was close to where we wanted to be and the good reviews. Unfortunately, we did not get as lucky as previous guests. The property is very difficult to find, and it is up hill all the way. Once to reach the bottom of the apartments are 3 flights of stairs ( 37 to be exact) to the accommodation. Once we got into the property we saw the emergency fire blanket out of its case on the kitchen table, a smashed glass frozen water bottle in the fridge, and no wifi. We did contact the property, but they were very unhelpful. The remote control for the television did not work and for those with children, be aware there is no key in the front door to lock it at night. It locks from the outside but not from the inside which means children can get out and there is a 14-foot drop from the balcony outside. In the morning there was no hot water for showers. We contacted Guest Ready and they asked us to find the boiler. We didn’t bother; we had had enough and just wanted to get out of there. If you want early check in, they charge 15 Euros for 2 hours early check in, for more than that it is 45 Euros. My advice is to look at the huge amount of other amazing accommodations in Lisbon. Avoid Guest Ready at all costs. I have asked for a refund, but day after day they tell me my request is under review. A refund should be automatic considering Guest Ready have falsely advertised their accommodation on Booking.com and didn’t rectify one issue we had during our stay. Booking.com have offered us 17 Euros and 88 cents as compensation. They have put this in a wallet to spend on another trip. This is an insult considering the catalogue of errors we experienced at this property.
