Casas da Tapada

Lovely clean space, air conditioning, washing machine, balcony.

Bit of building work going on during our stay so there was a lot of activity/noise during the day and a lot of noise at 2am-4am from the apartment above. Not normal walking around noises but loud banging and crashing

Casas da Tapada is a beautiful apartment situated in a nice quiet area of Lisbon. It has everything you need for a great stay. We appreciated having a washing machine in the apartment and enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen. The apartment has an air conditioner in both bedroom and living room and this was helpful as the weather in Lisbon can be hot at times. The apartment is walking distance to great cafes and restaurants as well as grocery shopping. Maria our host was very responsive and helpful. We can highly recommend Casas da Tapada.

Great host, easy communication, very spaceous apartman, beautiful decor and very clean. Location is also good, but you need car or uber or public transpotation because Lisboa is big city. 🙂🙂

Lovely and helpful host, great beds in the bedrooms, two bathrooms, amazing kitchen, and we were even invited to pick a few lemons for our enjoyment. We walked down to the bus station (10 min) each day to visit other parts of Lisbon. The Lidl grocery store is about a 15 min walk. A few nice restaurants closeby too. The price was much better than in the old town, which is one reason we rented here. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The apartment is just as beautiful, clean and comfortable as the pictures would indicate. Excellent shower and overall just really well equipped apartment. The host was attentive and responsive and even greeted us with an excellent bottle of wine. The location was quiet, safe, and near nice cafes and restaurants.

Leaving and returning from the more central areas of Lisbon proved a little bit cumbersome at times. While it may not look far on a map, the apartment is located in the middle of a long, one-way street, which often means long roundabout routes to/from the apartment. It is also worth noting that, while there are public transit stops nearby, they involve a fair amount of walking (sometimes down very steep steps), so people with limited mobility should be aware.

The apartment is very cozy and clean, located in a very quite and nice neighborhood. It's very convenient to reach city center and touristic sites via Uber/Bolt. I extremely loved the lemon tree in the back yard, you can have fresh lemon juice/tee everyday for free! The host manager Maria is very sweet and even prepare nice wine as welcome gift for us. We will absolutely choose to stay with them again next time we visit Lisbon!

We were very happy with this apartment. It is set up so well and had every thing we could need. Only negative was it location on a hill. My friend had knee issues and the walking down hill on slippery tiles to catch public transport was tricky. So we had to uber a lot.
