Costa Castle Apartment

The location. Right in the heart of the Alfama neighborhood. Nice, welcoming owner, excellent communication with him.

The apartment needs some serious, deep cleaning, and refurbishment of the utilities. The bathroom knob is broken, and this was mentioned by other travelers as well. You basically have to use the bathroom with the door opne :/. The shower leaks, the sink gets clogged. All these are manageable for a few days, and we were out for most of the time anyway, but I would not recommend this apartment to my friends.

The property is in an amazing location. You are just a few steps away from the most beautiful views in Alfama. The apartment was clean and our host was fantastic, friendly and gave us great recommendations. The air con is great and the apartment is spacious. There are a lot of facilities.

Nice layout of the house and kitchen and courtyard was nice. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and short tram ride to sites. A few Fado places walking distance from home.
