Appartamento ben tenuto a Lisbona, a una decina di minuti a piedi dalle stazioni metro e dei treni.

This is one of the nicest apartments we’ve ever stayed in! It’s super clean. It’s got everything you need in the very well-equipped kitchen. The host has obviously put a lot of thought into what folks need when traveling. The host was also very responsive to any queries we had during our stay. The neighborhood is so charming with lots of amenities nearby, yet just out of the way enough to be very quiet. The main downtown areas are about 30-40min walk, but that was perfect for us. If you prefer taking the metro, there are two stops within a 10min walk.

There is an off-putting, sewer-like smell every time you enter the apartment, but fortunately olfactory fatigue sets kick in fairly quickly and you stop noticing it. There is an air purifier in the apartment, which helps a little. The only feature the apartment lacks is a balcony. Sitting outside overlooking the pretty and quiet street while having a glass of wine would be so nice, but the apartment itself is so wonderful, we would happily stay here again despite this. For folks staying more than a few days, some extra coffee pods, toilet paper and soap would be nice, we had to buy some extra ourselves, but not a big deal.

Spacious with separate living room, well equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Good location to metro and airport.

The rooms each had air freshners and the perfume smell was overpowering…we put all in the bathroom and opened the windows…then were faced with a strong sewer smell. If you are sensitive to strong smells you may consider elsewhere. Also no instructions for the stove top (never could get it to work), washer and tv…each of the latter took about 30 min to get to operate correctly.

It was so much more than I expected.

We enjoyed our stay in this cosy apartment. The flat is beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. The neighborhood is not touristy and you can easily get to the centre taking the metro. There are many supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants around.

We love our stay at Casa do Joao! This apartment is cozy, warm, like you are at home. Located in super sweet street, we did not hear street noise let alone neighbours. You have everything in apartment: nespresso machine for morning coffee; iron; toster; towels; even oil and spices for cooking! We were surprised that we have electric blinds, and the button is next to bed! 🤩 Location is great - supermarket is across the street, local caffe also, a lot of restorants, barber shops, TAI massages… also 10 minutes to the airport. 👍🏻 We explored city by walking, and route to city centre by walk is about 1 hour. Uber from this place to city centre is about 4-5€. Big recommendation!
