The house is big and sunny, very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is really well equipped and the bed is nice. Maybe the pillows could be improved but not a big deal. The air conditioning in the bedroom and living room is strong and we liked it very much considering that the Portuguese houses are always cold. Joao is a very friendly and responsive host. We definitely recommend the house. There are shops 5 min away and a big supermarket.

Since we stayed 10 days, I would have appreciated a couple more towels in the bathroom especially because without a heating system is pretty hard to wash and dry clothes (we did anyway). We had some issues with the wifi that suddenly dropped dead but Joao sent the technical support immediately and they fixed it. The overall speed of the wifi is pretty fast!

Really comfortable and well equipped apartment. Comfortable bed, good shower, well equipped kitchen. Very close to metro and train stations for easy access to everything. Nice restaurants and good supermarkets nearby. Great communication from the owner.

High-speed internet, location, cleaness and everything for a comfortable staying.

Nice place with good transport possibilities. Uber transport from airport was 6,30 EUR. The train to Sintra is app. 400m far from the house. Green metro is just fee minutes walking far from the house. Apartment is modern, clean, you have everything you need during your stay. The Host is helpfull, gives feedback within short time.

Joao's apartment was perfect for our stay in Lisbon and it made us feel like locals. Very well furnished and cozy. Located in a nice and calm neighbourhood, close to the airport and not far from the center of the city.

The surroundings are calm and nice to walk through. While not so close to the main points of the city, it is fast to reach them by public transports. We were well received and showed around the house. Everything was clean, well arranged and modern.

Personally, the bedroom has a lot of storage space, which is of course great. However, with the walk in wardrobe it felt a bit overcrowded next to the bed.

Well located to reach Downtown or Sintra. The apartment is confortable and with all facilies we may need. Very good host.

No balcony

The apartment had everything you needed and they even offered a bottle of red wine. The place was very clean, had air conditioning in the rooms and the host was very responsive. The location was also very good - not in a touristy area, but it’s a really nice clean neighbourhood and you get a chance to actually love amongst the locals instead of living amongst the tourists. There is great public transport everywhere - two metro stations and a train station. Also the shops around the area are great and so are the restaurants.

We knew there wasn’t going to be a lift, but we had a bit of luggage and taking it up 3 flights of stairs wasn’t easy, especially since I had knee injury. The wifi also wasn’t solid throughout the 9 day stay. Some days it was great others not so much - and it doesn’t cover the whole place evenly. Finally the sound isolation isn’t great, we could hear the upstairs neighbor quite a bit. The host was nice enough to speak with him, though.
