Lovely apartment, a slight distance from the center compensates for the excellent view.

This apartment is situated at the top of Kas in a residential area not far from the main D400. This is managed by the next door family, this large 1 bedroomed apartment up 2 flights of steps and on a hill, had a large bedroom with 2 balconies, a larger eating and sitting room with a balcony looking down towards the town,and the coast could be seen beyond that. It also had a narrow bathroom with shower etc, and a kitchen with yet another balcony. There was a microwave oven and gas top for cooking, and a washing machine + iron and ironing table.It was great to be able to do our own washing. there was a/c in the bedroom and living room. The hosts were welcoming and gave us a large bunch of tomatoes. NB Kas is built on a steep hill and quite a lot of the roads in the town are near perpendicular, possibly with twists, and can be quite difficult to drive or walk along. There is a bustling tourist trade at the centre by the seafront.

The apparent Turkish practice of only providing a sheet that covers only just half the bed, so you have to use a blanket (or elsewhere a duvet) against one’s skin that has presumably been used by others in the same way.

Really nice small apartment with all you might need. Fast reliable wifi. Aircon in both the bedroom and the living room. A small balcony where you can sit and enjoy the sun if the weather is nice which it was every day in September. A couple nice places to eat around. Plenty of mini-markets around if you prefer to cook yourself.

Not that I didn't like because I like walking but center is 25/30 minutes walking, it's fine going down but coming back up is a bit tiring. There is a mini-bus but I never used it.
