Luxurious One Bedroom Suite with Balboa Park View

Easy to access from the airport and downtown. There were great facilities provided, such as coffee machine, oven and fridge. Staff were helpful.

Under a flight path, which can’t be helped, but made it noisy at times.

Great location, easy to find. Just a couple of miles from airport. $18 with Uber and $22 by taxi. Very close to Balboa Park. Was able to leave my luggage at the reception until 5pm before headed to airport. CVS at the corner of the street.

Dishwasher did not work.

The convenience to walk to the middle of the park was nice and they respond fairly quickly to any messages you send them.

Read this for a full and honest review: I didn't like a lot of things about this place. For starters, some unavoidable things were a bit unfortunate such as the amount of homeless people surrounding the building. Right where you can see the park is where they all camp. Along with that, we were there for five days and since the airport is right there, planes were flying really close to the place so it was very noisy most of the time. This is just a warning for light sleepers. The block around the corner was also like basically abandoned so it was kind of creepy. There were a few other frustrating things about this place though that I'm going to put under the category of poor service. First of all, there were a lot of spots on the furniture that were brown and white. The white looked like bleach but the brown not so much. Also when I tried to shower, the drain had someone else's hair on it (it was blonde straight hair - we're both black haired curly heads) and started to clog and water rose. We called the person in charge and he arrived fairly quickly however he started to blame us and say "in my 15 years of renting this place out I've never had complaints like this." after we expressed our concern for cleanliness. It was just a lot of things and I'm surprised no one else in reviews noticed. If you're not grossed out by stained towels, hair on the sheets, dust everywhere and mysterious brown stains on furniture and sheets, then you can book this place. I should also mention that there were egg shells and food in the drain of the sink? I only discovered this because thats also broken so you can look directly into the sink. We were also only given one toilet paper roll and two towels. We could at least have had one extra. The owner was fairly nice but kind of made us seem like we were crazy for pointing these things out and didn't give a proper reason for it all.

Very clean and comfortable- had everything we needed. Great location for Balboa Park and everything it has to offer. Walkable distance to downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

Comfortable beds, great layout, clean, managers on site were wonderfully helpful and accommodating, walking distance great attractions and good views.

Excellent location, short walk to Balboa Park. Staff was excellent, readily available to answer any questions or concerns you might have.
