Luxurious One Bedroom Suite with Balboa Park View

Great location! Within walking distance of Gaslamp District, Little Italy, and Balboa Park. Clean. Comfortable bed. Nicely equipped kitchen. I appreciated the option of on-site parking.

Planes fly right over the building for landing. Just had to get used to that. Earplugs were provided.

The proximity to the all the things we needed and wanted to see was convenient

As much as the location was convenient, as others have said, it is located right under the flight path of many airplanes flying into San Diego Airport. It is also alongside a Main Street so you hear lots of car traffic. Airplanes aside the loudest noise was actually from the other guests staying in the units above us. You can hear everything in the stairwell and the unit directly above. We heard the person on phone calls and their footsteps as they paced back and forth for 30-40minutes straight each evening. Also be sure to watch out for street cleaning signs when parking near by.

I wrote ahead to drop my suitcase in the office. When I knocked no one answered the locked door. I had to dig around in the emails to find a phone number to call and I left a message, then they answered the door.

Door codes were easy to use and instructions left were clear. The hosts were great, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfy. The place was clean and had pretty much all you needed.

The location is great except for the noise of people coming in and out and going up the stairs by the door near the bed. Also the planes fly overhead all day and night but after awhile you get used to it and you block it out.

Awesome place! Excellent location in front of the park! The place is really clean and spacious 10/10. Everything was great. Equipped with everything neccesary.

If we had been older, getting in with the code would've been confusing.

The location was really good, and the apartment was lovely, clean, and the main bed was so comfy.

The only thing, I would have liked to have been was higher up than the ground floor, for better views.

The property is close to downtown and the Balboa park. The apartment is very spacious and has all the necessary facilities. The bed was particularly comfortable.

We expected free parking to be included, but it’s at an additional charge. The airport is very close and the planes run over the building, so it gets very loud. Night flights are infrequent so you can still get a relatively good night sleep and air plugs are provided.

There is no windows/TV in the bedroom, so we felt little quite over there.

Few Issues: 1. To enter the apartment you need unlock 3 doors (After hours of travelling i felt very diff) 2. The details given in the email was not accurate (Parking fee, timing the people available for check in) 3. Area is with noise (Every minute you hear landing planes sound) 4. Parking - Very limited parking at the property (available few for +$20 addition to the room price) Over all: I am a booking.com customer for more than 10 years and I never want to recommend this property.
