City Water View Oasis with Pool & Gym near Cruise in Heart of Seattle

Great amenities, very comfortable bed, lot of natural light, updated decor, safe, great location

Minor repairs need to be done to keep the property in excellent condition, normal wear and tear.

The host made our late arrival to the property very easy, and was always prompt with answering any of our questions

Location, communication with owner. Well equipped with everything.

NOISE. no air-conditioning in the unit so they have provided portable air-conditioners for each room but you have to have the window open to use them. There is a Bar/Sports club called Buckleys right outside the window which does not close till 1am so you hear everything from the music to the fights as people leave, to police sirens all night long. There were workmen working on the balcony for both days we stayed without us knowing as they just appeared while we were sitting in the lounge, no locks on the sliding doors to the balcony to secure our belongings

It was located close to our ship’s pier

The location was great. The amount of homelessness , drugs openly being used and prostitution surrounding the area was unexpected and at some point, scary The apartment was spacious, very well stocked and our host were awesome. They gave us great information and answered all our questions. They mentioned the “characters” in the area but again surprised at the number of characters.

The stains and smell from the carpets. The smell coming from the mattress (musky old cologne) in the main bedroom was extremely unpleasant and I slept on the top of the bedding The hairs in the bathroom, under the couch pillows that cover the hide-a-bed were not a great find but that’s just me The maintenance being done on the building and having all windows/ patio doors covered in tape and plastic for the stay was unexpected No fault of the property manager of course but we would have liked to been informed The surprise of having strangers standing on your patio while trying to have your morning coffee, covering your view with plastic and tape, and invading your space was very very irritable to me and unpleasant for my family

The only thing that was good about the location was it was close to our cruise ship. Other than that, it’s not a good area.

The thing we didn’t like about our place that we stayed was walking outside and having multiple people sitting on the sidewalk, smoking crack. Also, in the photos they make it look like there’s two bedrooms there’s not! There’s one bedroom and a fold out couch.
