Winner in the Winelands

Location, comfortable, clean.

Location, together with the small details like milk with tea are appreciated.

Noisy at times due to surrounding farm and warehouses.

Beautifully appointed with lots to f extra touches

Artisan village is a bit of a strange area. We expected a mix of shops and apartments but was more industrial type businesses eg the alarm company, tuk tuk head office etc. unit overlooked what appeared to be a packing house so some noise from 6.30 Saturday morning when the machines started up. Not far to walk to franschoek Centre but a couple of blocks that didn’t feel nice to walk past at night so we drove rather if heading into town for the evening.

Great apartment right next to the Wine Tram! We had a great stay at Winner in the Winelands. The apartment was spacious, clean and had all we needed for two days. We loved sitting on the balcony, having a fully-equipped kitchen and that we only needed a minute or two to hop on the Wine Tram. In a nutshell, it was wonderful! Thanks again to the lovely host who was very welcoming!

Location was good for wine tram. If you aren’t a walker it might not be good for town center. Space was nice for 2 people . Kitchen was well equipped. The twin bed was not very comfortable but the double bed was fine. Inverter was really noisy and random alarms went off throughout our stay.
