Nothing at all

There was no electricity in that apartment. Candles were set for us to use. No door handle to the bathroom. The whole apartment is filthy. The bathroom the worst. From the door as soon as you enter its a disaster. We had to look for another place because there was no way we were going to take cold showers.

No Wifi, CSD gave me a wifi code that never worked. I contacted them. I paid for cleaning services, no one came, not even to remove the bin. The one room is smelling bad, the sewage pipe flows in the one cupboard. They have cockroaches in the at

There is no handle at the bathroom , and we didn’t have remote keys we had to always ask security to open for us untill the cleaner decided to borrow us hers.

1) The security staff, Sibusiso and Musa were always friendly and very helpful with assisting us with booking in and out and opening the security gates, as the host, 'Cameron' made us wait in anticipation for the remotes for the whole duration of the booking. 2) Cyberview Letting's Manager - Ignus. He was very helpful and was kind enough to rent us a remote for the property for the duration of our stay. No thanks to Cameron and his 'HeAd of ClEaNiNg StAff' who had the remote and who would bring it, by the way they are probably still bringing it🙄. 3)The location and La Ballito Building are a great, and in a good spot. They're close to the beach and have convenient shops in walking distance. 4) The beds were comfy and the flat was functionable.

This is a bit long winded, but just bare with it. It'll save you the dissappointment. Ok, where to start... Firstly, I messaged the host a week in advance to send me details on how the booking-in process works, he just said that he'll send me further details on the day of arrival. Flash forward, day of arrival comes, I remind him for fhe details before we depart and we arrive infront of the property, I check my messages, he never responded. I call security and they let me in. I go to the office, explain whats happened and they give me a key and say the host has to give me a remote to enter and exit. I phoned him multiple times and everytime he told me the cleaning lady or head of his cleaning staff would bring the remote as they had it. We got in the flat with the keys security gave us. There was a safety lock box, but it wasn't budging. The flat has alot of potential to be amazing, but has seen better days. The pictures are very outdated and should be considered as false advertising. Many things are rusted, many lights don't work. The living room fan and one bedroom fan don't work, but don't worry theres a broken rusted stand fan that we didn't dare touch, it probably would've rattled apart. The cuttlery is all mis-matched and dirty. There was a bent fork, one rusty half handled knife. The glass oven dishes were oily and dirty, the pans were so scratched and oily, everything stuck to them. The TV, fridge, kettle and microwave are all new and work but the toaster is so old and is broken doesn't even work or come on. The gate was rusted, the front door is splintering so one hard push would do it to break in. The bathroom and room doors were no better, also in tatters, the bathroom door was missing its outer handle. The windows were not washed and the walls were in many places covered in filthy hand and foot marks. Many places in the flat were so dusty. The couches were all also full of stains and marks.
