"Kein Luxus, aber Abenteuer und Wildnis pur."

Die Gästehäuser sind in absolut ruhiger und traumhafter Lage, inmitten der Natur, mit toller Aussicht. Die Unterkunft war sauber und ist mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet, dass man benötigt, allerdings auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Luxus hier ist die Lage und die Aussicht. Abends unter dem Sternenhimmel bei einem Braai auf der Terrasse zu sitzen. Ein Bett war sehr klein, das andere Zimmer hatte keine Heizung, die Duschen draußen, dafür aber eine Badewanne im Bad. Kein Luxusurlaub, aber wenn man ein Gefühl von Wildnis und Abenteuer sucht, dann ist man hier genau richtig. Gastgeber Leon und sein Team war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, das Frühstück sehr familiär und hausgemacht. Vielen Dank für den besonderen Aufenthalt, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

"Wish we could have stayed longer."

We were visiting Aquila game reserve and were looking for a property not too far away. Rooilande is exceptional value for money and, if you like stargazing, this is the property for you! A perfect end to a wonderful day looking at the stars. Leon is a great host, very friendly and he even delivered a hot breakfast the next morning! Leon is making improvements all the time and this is a property to watch…

We stayed in the new chalets. They are modern, comfortable and have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The chalets have beautiful views over the valley. The instructions to get to the chalets are clear and detailed. The host took good care of us and is responsive. it i s a great place to stay enroute to or from Cape Town or for a weekend or a holiday. It seems to be great birding hotspot for the black-headed canary.
