Stunning view, exceptional staff, great space, assisted us at short notice.

Terribly dilapidated braai, no coffee or sugar, lighter empty to light the gas braai, mosquito burner empty,soap dispenser empty. I think it was a bit over priced

It’s incredible location

The hot tub wasn’t hot enough. It took a long time to work out how to use the induction hot plate

the views and the remoteness of it all. The accommodations are all recently made. You can do as you please its a very laid back atmosphere.

We were gobsmacked with the views from our chalet looking over the mountains and distant mountains and the milkyway at night the stars were absolutely stunning. What a treat it was to lie in the hot tub just gazing at the stars. The accommodation was first class and loved the bath with hand shower. Leon was such a friendly man and very kind. Jessica the lovely staff couldn't do enough for us what a gem she was. We hire a quad bike and my hubby and I went for lovely trips on the dirt tracks even though we are in our young 70s it was just so much fun. We now want to go back with our 2 sons they will love it there. Thanks Leon for the best time we had in the Western Cape.

Yes the was one thing I can think of that I didn't like one bit and that was having to leave and go home.

The location is spectacular

Unfortunately, there was construction work going on when we were there, so not as peaceful as we'd hoped for. Also, a strong wind was blowing when we arrived (not the host's fault!) but it meant that the dust was really bad and coated everything outside. Although the host offered to stop with digging a services trench right outside our accommodation, we didn't really feel we could say no which exacerbated the dust and was noisy. The kitchen facilities are really basic. There needs to more crockery, cutlery, serving dishes etc and plastic wine glasses are really tacky. A small upgrade would make a big difference. Also, we couldn't work the plug in cooking plate. Luckily we were able to cook everything on the braai but that was a challenge with the dust.
