Stunning location on working farm . Guest was very friendly

The location is spectacular and the wine even better! The hosts were great, friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We felt right at home.

This is a 200 year old original Cape Dutch farmhouse with stone floors and high ceilings, authenticity is incredible! Every detail takes the visitor to a time gone by. It’s also a very busy working farm and a privilege to stay here. It’s our second visit and we stayed 4 nights on this occasion. We left reluctantly this morning, wanting more. It’s very convenient to visit Cape Town and the pretty town of Stellenbosch. Stellenbosch has some first class restaurants. We left the vineyard this morning with our bottles of wine and sparkling wine - so wonderful to enjoy the countryside where the grape is grown with such love, and care.

Beautiful setting. Not commercialised. Authentic old farmhouse. Friendly staff. Very clean. Quiet. Very roomy, like an apartment. Easy check in and out.

Got a little lost on the farm, took one turn to the right incorrectly but got out at the right place.

The "normal" farm experience was refreshing. The wine tasting is right next door with a relaxed environment. The old farmhouse was divided up and provided comfortable self-catering. The kitchen is well equipped, with solar backup and a nice braai area.

Cellphone reception is poor in the area, but that might be a good thing. They do have wifi.

This is a wine estate and so it is far from town. It's a very unique and comfortable house and you can do wine tasting on the estate. The gardens are nice, and there is a nice walking trail on the estate.

We went out to dinner, but there aren't too many restaurants around (because it is a wine estate in the country), so you will have to drive a ways to go anywhere. The kitchen facilities are basic.
