Best Place Ever

I liked that the property had all amenities and beautiful deck looking over the ocean and mountains. It was a perfect location to get away from the busy city and just chill. The bed was was very comfortable and the property was really neat and clean we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to all. Our favourite part was a bath that looked over the ocean and mountain.

bathroom light switch was at the front door. not near the bathroom no curtain on one window with bright light in the room all night only one plug set. had to drag an extension lead to be able to use any appliances no toilet roll holder in toilet. toilet paper was high up in a bucket people upstairs stomped about all night

It was cold and unfortunately not enough blankets.

The place is situated in an area around the Harbour. To get to the location, you are driving through the local area, which isn't fancy, but it's true to the Hout Bay locals.The place is pet friendly, so that's key for me. The view is really breathtaking.. it has a bathtub that faces the front view, so you can soak in and have some bubble with a beautiful view of the ocean. The hosts were kind and very accommodating .I stayed in the apartment, which was open planned, had a private bathroom and a separate kitchen with everything you need inside.

I was satisfied with everything. I would suggest a TV but that's my preference which was okay, we used our laptop instead :)

We stayed in the Mamma Africa room and let me start by saying the view was exceptional 👌🏻 definitely the best feature of the property. The bed, though a double in size, was very comfy - both my husband and I had good nights sleep.

This room would have been adequate if we were staying for a night but we booked a three night stay. There is no cupboard or dresser to unpack your clothing so we lived out of our suitcases. This was not ideal. Then there is a service bar set up with a kettle, microwave, toaster and some plates, mugs, glasses and cutlery but nowhere to clean dishes or fill the kettle. We had to take our dirty things to the toilet/bathroom to wash them there. Plus, filling the kettle from there. I could overlook the hygiene aspect if filling the kettle was a quick and simple task but it actually does not fit under the tap to fill it. This is a basin meant for washing hands and teeth in - not washing dishes and filling kettles in. So this was quite an inconvenience.
