I enjoyed the ammenities that the building had to offer, such as the pool, the braai spot, and the location( on the beach).

No instructions on how to enter the premises and obtain the house key as explained on booking.com. Room door, did not have a handle to open/close Lights in the room with the 2 single beds were not working. The shower curtain was extremely dirty. The toilet seats were dirty. Sliding door needs 2 people to actually open. The apartment had a really bad odor, including the microwave having an unpleasant smell. The dishwasher was filthy and had a very bad odor The entire kitchen was infested with cockroaches. There were cockroaches all over the dishes in the cupboards and crawling in the beds as well. There were cockroaches crawling all over our food stuff. The main bedroom window did not close.(was broken) There was no iron, hair dryer, and no aircon as stated on bookings.com

This place was filthy and we couldn't even sleep one night...still waiting to get the refund.

Dirty, old rotten furniture and smells horrible.

To be honest the only nice thing is that it is close to the swimming beach.

The place is very dirty, and false advertised. Cockroaches everywhere. No fans, no wi fi. When you try and contact the person assisting with the unit they do not answer nor reply to any messages. .I would never stay there again.

Bed did not have duvet cover Bathrooms did not have rails for towels No floor mats in bathroom and shower. Table outside leg was broken Fridge made a big noise.

• Sea view, Garden view, Pool view – It is very nice. Unfortunately, no maintenance is done. The rails are rusted, and you must be very careful that you do not scratch yourself against the rust and end up in hospital with blood poisoning. • You must get outside on the balcony to enjoy the view. There are 2 sliding doors with NO wheels at the bottom. They are both sliding metal on metal and almost impossible to open and close. The one door does not even have a lock. When I asked the lady how to open the door, she told me that the wind will blow and the TV might fell over, and therefore I should not open that door. Apartment facilities • Air conditioning – NOTHING. • Linen – yes, but full of stains and needs to be replaced. We had to wait for the linen and then the bed in the spare room was made. I think it is because the door in the main bedroom should not be used. • Tea/Coffee maker - NOTHING • Iron - NOTHING • Fan - NOTHING • Outdoor furniture – needs some urgent treatment. The one leg of the table is broken. It is dangerous to be outside on the balcony because the rails are rusted badly. If you scratch your foot against it, it will be the end of the holiday. • Wardrobe or closet – It needs paint and repairs. • Clothes rack - NOTHING • Drying rack for clothing - NOTHING • Carbon monoxide detector – DID NOT SEE ANYTHING ???? None of the windows in the bedroom or the living room can stay open. You must leave the door open, or nothing. The carpet in the room is smelly and needs to be replaced. Cleaning might not help. The furniture in the living room is very old and uncomfortable. It should have been replaced a long time ago. Booking in and out is a nightmare. When I phoned and asked, I was told that an e-mail was already send to me, which I did not get. At the end, I had to phone again when I was at the premises and only then received 4 pages of instructions how to get the key and get into the room.

The following is advertised for the unit, with my comments where I have any comments. In your private kitchen: • Refrigerator – yes. The paint on the door is off on the side of the door, and it looks terrible. The inside was better, and it worked. • Stovetop – yes – it is a 2-plate stovetop for 6 people. This will NOT work. • Toaster – yes, BUT IT IS BROKEN. You must keep the lever down to get it to work. • Dining table – There is a very nice work top with several chairs where you can sit and eat, Unfortunately, the bottoms of the chairs are broken and you sit inside the chair, and not on it. • Additional information. The kitchen is full of cockroaches. In your private bathroom: • Toilet – there are 2 toilets in 2 different rooms, which is nice. The seat in the one is totally loose, and in the bathroom, it needs to be replaced. The paint is off, and it is not hygienic to use. • Bath - There are stains in the bath, and no plug for the bath. The windows can open, but 2 people must keep it open, or you must put a stick in each window. There are no rails to hang your clothes, or the towel. The door on the cupboard below the basin is broken off. • or shower. The shower is in a very small separate room. There are no rails to hang your clothes, or the towel. I had to keep the door open and left my clothes outside. This will not work if there are different families or children using the facility. The window in this room can open. • Hairdryer – NOTHING - Did not find any • Additional toilet - The seat is totally loose. • Toilet paper – NOTHING SUPPLIED, although we asked.

View was stunning. Outside braai and pool area was very neat and clean.

The unit itself was average. Its in need off fumigation. There were cockroaches all over had to buy doom to get rid off them. Upon arrival we found it had a disgusting odor. Had to open everything and use incense and a fragrance humidifier. Fridge needs replacing and balcony needs rust removed and painted...it definitely needs air conditioning.
