Bartinney Private Cellar Banhoek

The host was very friendly and helpful. Marc assisted us and offered great ideas for enjoying our stay, not just at the farm but in the area as well. Loved every bit of our time there. It is a place I'd definitely go back to!

The swimming pool is excellent, and we enjoyed the cool water. The trees around drop many leaves despite the great effort put in maintaining a clean pool; there are still some scattered leaves and floral debris on the surface. However, if you enjoy swimming, this is not a deal breaker at all.

Fantastisch gelegen, ruime locatie, prima voorzieningen. Wijnproeven met schitterend uitzicht was inbegrepen. Mooi gelegen tussen Franschhoek, Paarl en Stellenbosch. Vlak tegenover le Pommier voor ontbijt en diner.

Sehr schönes geräumiges Loft, gute Ausstattung, traumhafte Lage des Weingutes mit wunderschönem Ausblick, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal und sehr gute Weine.

Wunderschön eingerichtetes Apartment mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr nettes Personal, wunderschöner Blick, super Winetasting. Wir kommen wieder!

We stayed at Bartinney in 2018 and loved the experience so wanted to share this fabulous accommodation and location with our friends on this trip to South Africa. On this occasion we had the pleasure of being hosted by Marc who was absolutely outstanding in providing a wonderful stay including a wine tasting for the 9 of us at a private location with an amazing view. Nothing was too much trouble, arranging a food platter on very short notice and we were grateful to be able to send our luggage forward from Cape Town to be kept securely by Marc's desk.

Very little to not like but felt that the kitchen area in Vineyard Cottage was a little below the standard of those in Candlewood and Wild Olive House

Location great for wine route, Franschoek,Paarl,Cape town all within easy reach. Staff are friendly, loads of space in our accommodation.comfy bed .

Outside seating area could do with some tlc , although it didn't bother us as we were out most of the time and it was too cold to sit outside

Lovely location and well tended property. Carmen the host was so attentive and the tasting experience was fantastic in a beautiful location

We did want to cook an evening meal and the kitchen didn’t have many knives, pots and pans etc, so it was tricky to cook there. I assume many people eat out but places shut quite early and we wanted to relax and enjoy the property, so a better stocked kitchen would have been appreciated
