Marc is an excellent host. He was responsive, helped with our questions, attentive to our needs. He is one of the reasons we will stay with you when we come back :). We loved the location. We enjoyed the surroundings and walked around. We loved the Cabernet. We loved the wine tasting and the views. The accommodations were cconforms able. All in all a great place. It was easy to get in after hours using the remote to open the gate. Enjoyed the dogs too :)

The wood did not catch fire easily and hence, most of the fire in the fireplace was from the starter logs.

Fantastic views of the Banhoek mountain range from this beautifully decorated private cottage, which is a lot bigger than what it appears to be. Our amazing host Marc, was there to invite us into a homely atmosphere with it's gorgeous fireplace. It's like taking a step into your own home away from home, with all it's other amenities at your disposal. (Wine tasting right on your doorstep.) I can highly recommend a long weekend trip into this blissful state that is Bartinney wine farm.
